The weekend-long event is a showcase of the real diversity of the Welsh countryside and a fantastic day out for young families, garden enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in the great outdoors.

NSA Welsh Sheep 2025 will offer a professional update and the latest industry information, as well as a chance for sheep farmers to get together. It will be set against a spectacular back drop in the Welsh Borders, just 15 minutes from Hay on Wye.

Please join us for the return of our rural awards and drinks reception, celebrating the achievements of individuals, communities and businesses in rural Sussex. Three awards will be announced:
President's Cup (recipient nominated by Action in Rural Sussex)
Woodpecker trophy (nominated by the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group, or FWAG)
Sussex Young Farmer of the Year (nominated by Sussex Young Farmers), awarded the CLA Rose Bowl.
CLA Director General Bella Murfin will also give a topical update on the organisation's recent work and future plans.

Cereals is a leading technical event for the arable industry that aims to equip farmers with the latest knowledge, ideas and technology to help them embrace all of the challenges and opportunities which will arise in the coming years.
This year, the CLA will be hosting an informal breakfast briefing for members on the first day. From 8.45am β 9.45am you can enjoy free tea, coffee and breakfast rolls from the comfort of the Ceres Rural stand.
During this breakfast, Ceres Rural will chair a panel discussion with CLA Deputy President Gavin Lane and Cereals host Andrew Ward. This session will cover a range of key issues facing the agricultural industry. Representatives from Defra have also been invited to attend.

The CLA will again be attending Groundswell on both days (stand DF E30) and will be hosting round table meetings, speakers and a breakfast.
On day one we're hosting a round table discussion on land sparing versus land sharing with Professor John Gilliland, followed by a fascinating talk from Lord Leicester and renowned conservationist and author Jake Fiennes.
FromΒ 7.30am β 8.45amΒ on the second day, you can enjoy breakfast rolls and fresh tea and coffee. We will be joined by CLA President Victoria Vyvyan who will give a brief update and opportunity to ask any questions about policy. We will also be joined by farming and sustainability expert Vicky Robinson.

The CLA North team will be out in full force at this yearβs Great Yorkshire Show from 8 to 11 July. In addition, our special guests at this yearβs show will be CLA Deputy President Gavin Lane, CLA Director of Policy and Advice, Judicaelle Hammond and CLA External Affairs Director, Jonathan Roberts.
As per previous shows, a cold buffet ploughmanβs lunch for members and guests is available for purchase between 11.30am and 2pm every day. On the Wednesday, barbequed meat will be served for lunch.

Throughout the morning you can browse the stalls and trade stands, check out the livestock as they are prepared for exhibiting and watch the judging.
From 9:00am, the Main Ring is used for judging the Retraining of Racehorse Amateur Ridden Series Qualifier and the beautiful costumes of the Side Saddle classes and Show Jumping.
We will be there for the day next to the cattle lines with our advisors on hand to assist with any queries, concerns and membership or just come along for a sit down, cup of tea and a chat.
